Black Marjieh & Sanford LLP Volunteers at Feeding Westchester to Support Local Families

The Black Marjieh & Sanford LLP team once again donated their time and effort to support Feeding Westchester, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping food-insecure residents across Westchester County. This year’s volunteer day continues BM&S’s longstanding commitment to meaningful community engagement and local impact.
Last Friday, the BM&S team gathered at Feeding Westchester’s distribution center in Elmsford, where they packed 350 bags of fresh produce for families in need. These produce bags will be distributed throughout the county as part of Feeding Westchester’s ongoing mission to ensure that households have access to nutritious food.
Feeding Westchester plays a central role in the fight against hunger, partnering with nearly 300 community programs to distribute food and resources throughout Westchester County. Their work not only addresses urgent nutritional needs but also supports long-term solutions to food insecurity.
BM&S’s continued involvement with Feeding Westchester reflects the firm’s deep commitment to community engagement and social responsibility. From hands-on volunteer efforts to financial support, BM&S is proud to contribute to initiatives that uplift and strengthen the local community.
“Our partnership with Feeding Westchester is one of the most meaningful things we do each year,” said BM&S Founding Partner Lisa Black. “Packing produce may seem like a small act, but together these efforts help nourish families and remind us of the power of collective goodwill. We’re grateful for the opportunity to serve and to support our neighbors across Westchester.”
