Black Marjieh & Sanford LLP is a proud sponsor of the second annual DRI Construction Law Boot Camp, an all-inclusive review of construction claims. The event brings together experienced practitioners and industry professionals, who will discuss recent updates in the law, along with strategies to narrow the issues and resolve claims.

The Boot Camp presentation topics include Mitigating Against Nuclear Verdicts, Game-Changing Updates to Labor-Law Statutes, Using Experts to Navigate the Minefield of Litigation, Emerging Damage Trends, and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

BM&S Partner Steven R. Lau, who was recently recognized as a Super Lawyer, will serve as a panelist on the presentation entitled “Labor Law Statutes 200, 240, and 241(6): Game-Changing Updates.

Lau’s practice encompasses New York Labor Law, premises liability, product liability, professional liability, catastrophic motor vehicle accidents, general liability and insurance coverage claims. He has depth of experience defending construction accident claims on behalf of owners, general contractors, construction managers and trade contractors. Lau handles all aspects of litigation, from inception through trial.
